Проблема биопоражений (насекомыми-древоточцами) древесины в раскопе «Археологического музея «Берестье»: история, борьба, перспективы

В 1968–1981 гг. на Госпитальном острове (Волынском укреплении) Брестской крепости (г. Брест, Республика Беларусь) на месте древнего города Берестья проходили археологические раскопки под руководством доктора исторических наук, профессора П. Ф. Лысенко. Музеефикация Берестья в 1970–1980-х гг. была уникальным и на тот момент единственным опытом консервации и музеефикации такого большого археологического памятника в полевых условиях. Разработанная оригинальная методика консервации археологической древесины предоставила возможность музеефицировать часть городища Берестья. Начиная с момента вскрытия построек возникло ряд проблем, связанных с их сохранением. Одна из них – проблема биопоражений археологической древесины. Рассматривается опыт борьбы с насекомыми-древоточцами в археологическом музее «Берестье».
