Находка восточной стеклянной лампы на Остолоповском селище XI–XII вв.

Статья посвящена стеклянной лампе, от которой сохранилась ручка-петелька, найденная на территории Остолоповского булгарского селища, расположенного в нижнем течении одного из притоков Камы. С 1955 г. селище интенсивно размывается Куйбышевским водохранилищем. В период расцвета этого поселения, во второй половине XI – начале XII в., на селище функционировало несколько достаточно крупных усадеб. В подъемном материале размытой части одной из них был обнаружен фрагмент лампы. Традиционно такие предметы относят к так называемым лампам для мечетей, к ранней группе, датируемой IX–XI вв. Привлечение аналогичных предметов, надежно датированных археологически, позволило уточнить датировку этого типа, а также поднять вопрос о правомерности использования для этой группы названия лампы для мечетей в связи с использованием их в освещении не только мусульманских общественных зданий, таких как мечети и медресе, но и христианских храмов. Присутствие подобной находки на Остолоповском селище, скорее всего, может быть объяснено торговым характером памятника, так как селище было одним из пунктов на пути из центральных районов булгарского государства, прежде всего, столичного города Биляра, к торговым факториям на Каме и ее притоках.
