Abstract

The present research deals with the peculiarities of criminal-law protection of cultural heritage. The unsatisfactory situation in this area requires appropriate measures of criminal law to the persons who violate the requirements of preservation and use of cultural heritage, the revealed objects of a cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia. It is offered directions of optimization of criminal law protection of monuments of history and culture.
