Abstract

The article presents preliminary results of archaeological studies in the peripheral part of the Selitrennoye settlement. Here, 5 dwelling houses, more than a dozen household and сonstruction waste pits, several tandoors, a part of medieval street and city square, as well as a massive more than 3 meters deep and in diameter pitreservoir with water drainage system, were discovered and partially studied. During the fi rst construction period, identified by coins as the period of the reign of Uzbek Khan, there was a street on this site with a separate street structure, possibly a furnace. Then, in the second period, the possible furnace was destroyed and another residential building, which was a multi-room building, was erected in its place. A large number of identical types of ceramics were found in these buildings, i.e. they not only served as dwelling houses, but also served as warehouses for goods manufactured for sale.
