Ananyino Horizon of Ardino Hillfort

Abstract

The paper contains the materials of excavations conducted at Ardinskoe settlement in 2013. It alsofeatures a detailed description of a ceramic complex dating back to Ananyino period, fl int articles and other materials. The issue of chronology and place of the settlement in question among the Ananyino antiquities are considered without the determination of specifi c dates or large-scale analogies. It is generally recognized that site represents an open settlement of the Early Iron Age, and in terms of material fully corresponds to that discoverd in the Mari Volga region.
