PRODUCTION COMPLEXES OF THE SETTLEMENT OF THE JEYTUN CULTURE OF GADYM-DEPE (REPUBLIC OF TURKMENISTAN)

A comprehensive analysis of the tools from the Gadymi-depe settlement indicates a high technological level of their manufacture and functional diversity. The economy of this settlement, located in the foothill zone of Kopetdag, included all the industries necessary for the livelihoods of its population, including the production of tools for the main sectors of the economy: agriculture, processing of hunting and livestock products, manufacturing jewelry, spinning tools, production of household items of wood, antler, bone. The technological, typological and functional analysis of the tools demonstrates their close similarity with the producing economy of other simultaneous sites of the Jeitun culture.
