Abstract

The 6th International Archaeological School was traditionally held in Bolgar on August 19 - September 01, 2019. It was attended by over 90 young specialists from 10 world countries. The main objective of the School is the practical research application of the latest methods of studying and preservation of historical and cultural heritage. The School was organized within the framework of the following four scientific and educational practice-oriented programs: Archaeological Glass, History and Restoration of Ancient Ceramics, Palaeoanthropology, Stabilization and Conservation of Archaeological Iron. One of the consistent features of the International Archaeological School in Bolgar has been extensive use of experimental study methods. The School was traditionally closed with the Final Youth Scientifi c and Practical Conference “Interdisciplinary Studies in Archaeology: Achievements and Challenges”.
