Abstract

The paper presents a previously unpublished numismatic collection from Rozhdestveno village in the
Laishevsky District of Tatarstan included in the memorial collection of the Archaeological Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Institute of Archaeology of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences. Twelve silver coins of the 14th–15th centuries are analyzed and published for the first time. Previously published materials found in the vicinity of Rozhdestveno village are used for analysis. In general, this is a complex of more than 170 Juchid coins of the mid-13th – first half of the 15th centuries, and coins of Russian principalities. Most of the coins were minted in the 15th century. Two photo tables are attached to the paper. The numismatic material presented in the paper illustrates the monetary circulation of the Bolgar Vilayat in the 12th–15th centuries on the basis of archaeological materials found near Rozhdestveno.
