Abstract

The author presents an overview of items from the memorial collection of R.R. Shaikhutdinov, relating to the period of existence of the state of Volga Bulgaria and Golden Horde (X–XV centuries). The collection includes more than 1100 findings collected on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. The collection includes 294 objects, which are presented by products of iron, non-ferrous metals, glass, ceramics and bones: household items, tools, garments, jewelry. The collection contains many items related to Finno-Ugric antiquities. Most of the items in the collection have analogies over a wide area, but there are also those that are known in the territory of the Volga Bulgaria from rare finds. Such items include, for example, rings with the image of a hand, which are associated with the Russian population.
