Abstract

The paper presents a historiographical review of the literature devoted to the study of bone products of the Cis-Kama terrotory. The study is aimed at considering the entire complex of historiographical sources that can reflect the dynamics of changes in approaches to the study of bone products of the Perm Pre-Urals. There are three stages in the study of bone products. The first stage is characterized by the absence of a strictly scientific approach and descriptive. The second stage is connected with the creation of the first structural works on the study of bone-cutting, which appeared as a result of active study of the territory of Cis-Kama River. The current stage includes research on various fields, and is often associated with interdisciplinary research. In particular, works on the classification of bone products, paleozoological analysis, analysis of ornamental compositions are presented.
