Концептуальные взгляды Н.Ф. Калинина на древнейшее прошлое Волго-Камья

В данной статье на основании анализа изданных работ и архивных данных предпринята попытка в краткой форме изложить взгляды ученого на прошлое Волжско-Камского региона. По своей сути, диссертация Н.Ф. Калинина “Древнейшее население Татарии” и ее последующие публикации в 1948 г. и дополненная новыми данными глава в коллективной монографии 1955 г. явились первыми обобщающими работами по первобытной и раннесредневековой археологии ТАССР. Новаторской разработкой исследователя было выделение трех локальных групп населения бронзового века исходя из преобладающего типа хозяйства, осуществленная реконструкция женского костюма пьяноборского времени. Не менее значим вклад Николая Филипповича в исследовании т.н. Приказанской культуры.
