When studying epigraphic monuments, including amphoric stamps, the task of reading and informative publication of inscriptions of poor preservation often arises. This article is dedicated to using the Multi-Scale Integral Invariant algorithm (MSII) for the study of amphora stamps. The algorithm is considered in comparison with other methods of mathematical visualization of the geometry of 3D polygonal surface used at work with an array of 359 amphora stamps found during underwater archaeological excavations in the Kerch Strait. The article deals with practical issues of determining the optimal calculation parameters for model transformation by the algorithm of MSII, as well as the choice of visualization methods adapted in various ways directly for the study of the amphora stamps and for its electronically and polygraphically publication. The use of the MSII algorithm makes it possible to get raster image suitable for providing external verification of the author's reading of the legend of the amphora stamps.
