Abstract

The paper features the materials from the excavations of Kipchakovo II burial ground in 2015 (Ilishevsky district, the Republic of Bashkortostan). The excavation area is 52.52 square meters (with sidetracks), and a total of ten burials were studied. The burials were arranged in shallow pits, the size of which slightly exceeds the height of the buried persons. According to an anthropological determination made by A.A. Khokhlov, seven skeletons are recognized as male, two - as female, and two - as children. Various elements of costume decoration were found in the burials, as well as individual items used for military and household purposes. In one of the burials, the remains of a man's leather headdress were discovered. The burials examined on the outskirts of Kipchakovo village are related to the burial complexes of the Pianу Bor culture and were preliminarily dated within the period of late 2nd century BC – 1st century AD.
